One thing that I love about LCHF is that you can eat dessert without feeling guilty. It's all part of the LCHF lifestyle. There are tons of great recipes for treats available.
This recipe doesn't call for a freezer or an ice cream maker!
LCHF Strawberry Ice cream
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cups of sour cream
- 2 egg yolks
- 300 grams of frozen raspberries (the berries have to be frozen, not fresh)
Directions
- Whip the heavy cream and egg yolks until fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, whip the sour cream until fluffy.
- Chop the raspberries into chunks.
- Mix all ingredients well until it becomes pink and smooth.
- Serve immediately in small bowls.
PS. You can keep the ice cream in the freezer for a couple of hours if you would like to serve the ice cream later that day.
