One way I keep myself motivated to stay healthy and keep going is to follow the season. I switch up my workouts and food according to the season. It prevents me from getting bored of my routine and tired of what I'm eating.
My workout switcheroos
- Winter - yoga and go to the gym (swimming, weight-lifting)
- Spring and Fall - running outside and long walks, hiking
- Summer - early or late morning runs/walk, HIT workouts outside
Below is what I eat each season. This doesn't only keep my taste buds happy, but also my wallet.
- Spring
- Green peas
- Asparagus
- Artichokes
- Spinach
- Mango, oranges and pineapple
- Summer
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Peas
- Beets
- Eggplant
- Corn
- Berries, cherries and melon
- Fall

- Brussel sprouts
- Butternut squash
- Cauliflower

- Apples, pears and grape
- Winter

Remember that frozen vegetables are a great option, so if you are craving a veggie that is not in season, just go for some frozen veggies.
